Sexual Abuse

How would you feel? Abused by a relative and left? Sadly sexual abuse is an ongoing topic that is arising in our society today.
My very dear friend, who cannot be named, opened up her heart to deliver us with an insight of a traumatic period in her life.

What can I say? I was only 12 years old; into sport, swimming, very shy, had a low self-esteem. Trying hard to fit into school.
My Family? Well my mum, she's very independent, and we don't really talk as much as we would have liked, but...It worked, and I love her. My dad, well we never lived together and a bond never formed, but we met now and again (comfortably.)
On May 17th 1992, I was at my dad's house (a normal routine) sleeping. I felt a sweaty body right beside me, he told me to take off my clothes, shut up and hurry up about it!
I slipped them off, as I didn't want the bruises I had once tried to disguise...so hard! He started biting my nipples...

20-minute break as the experience made her very emotional

Cont.

...He made them bleed.

F#*%! Why is it so hard to get this S*#?! Out!
Yeah straight up good old .....Was raped by her dad!
He told me I was the ugliest thing he had ever seen, and laughed at me.That was right before he threw candle wax over me, and told me to open wide like my mum. I did.
He shoved himself inside me, as I felt the blood that I saw later on the white sheets. My innocence and purity had gone.

He then asked me to suck him.
"Suck me you Slag" I recall.
When I declined, all I remember was darkness, I guess I blacked out!

I cried for a long time and still cry till this day! The memories, the thoughts, I still fear him! The semen inside me makes me feel sick and worthless.
Yes, I did tell my mum who denied that that sort of incident could happen.

Now at sixteen, I have only recently spoke to the police about it, I only now had the courage! Dumb innit!
They basically said it was too late for a formal investigation to take place.
If any ones out there, take my advise, speak up cause you'll regret it! But you're not alone!

The worst part is.....My sister recently told me my dad had done the same thing to her... Please learn from my mistakes!
